Digging into the Foundations of faith is a program that lays the groundwork for what it means to be a Christian. Kids will explore what the Bible reveals about who God is and how God sees us, how we fit in God’s family, and how we live the Christian life. As kids understand core concepts of Christianity, they’ll gain a solid framework for their own relationship with Jesus.
On Wednesday nights during the school year, we provide Team Kid program for children ages 4yrs(who are in school) – 6th grade. This is a ministry that continues to grow and is now running over 100 kids.
As the Team Kid ministry has grown, our concern for safety has increased. When you come to drop off your children, you will see several “safety” volunteers in orange and yellow vests. These volunteers watch children from the beginning of the evening until each child has safely gone home.
If you have any questions about any of our Children’s Ministries please contact us.
When you first bring your child to FBC, we will get all kinds of information about you and your child so we can provide the best and safest care possible.
The official times are 5:30pm – 7:30pm on Wednesday nights. However, you may want to arrive closer to 5:15 because the drop-off and pick-up lines can take a few minutes. They take a few minutes because we check-in and check-out each child.
On Wednesday nights we serve a “snack-meal.” Chicken Nuggets/Maccaroni, or Corn-Dogs. On Sundays your child may get snacks in their classroom; however, it will not be as much of a meal as Wednesday evenings.
We have classes for every age at FBC. Small Group starts at 9:00am and you will see maps all around campus to help you find where to drop off children.
That is up to you. We have children’s church for ages birth to 6th grade. However, some parents want their children to go to worship with them. We also have a “nursing/cry” room available in the Sanctuary where you can see the worship service.
We have a policy at FBC that there will always be at-least two volunteers in each room. Depending on class size, there may be more.
